Kick Zone – Overseas Release – bowlingball.com Exclusive

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Brunswick Bowling Balls. Brunswick’s International Series has been developed specifically for Asian markets using core and coverstock systems that provide Asian bowlers with a range of equipment that matches up to typical Asian lane conditions. The looks of International Series balls are also adapted to Asian tastes making the International Series completely customized for Asian bowlers. Available only through International Distributors.

Reaction Characteristics

The Kick Zone combines a New High Gloss PK Traction – 7 coverstock with a Proven High RG core system to produce a ball reaction that will give the bowler Easy Skid, a Fast Responding Mid lane and Strong Continuous Backend reaction on Medium oil lane conditions. The PK Traction coverstock although polished will still have a strong grip on lane even on the hardest of lane surfaces and the thickest of oils.

Response Time

To understand the International Zone Coverstocks better we will be using a 1-10 number scale system after the coverstock name to describe Response Time. Response Time is how fast or slow the ball changes direction when it encounters friction. The Higher the number the Faster the ball will change direction similar to Skid/Snap. The Lower the number the Slower the ball will change direction similar to Smooth Arc.

Utility

Out of the box: With its high gloss surface most players will find the Kick Zone matches up well on medium-oily to medium-dry lane conditions.

When dulled: The hooking action will increase and its arc will become more even, creating a better match-up for oily lane conditions and for smoothing over/under reactions seen on wet/dry lane conditions.

Groove Dark Blue/Light Blue Polished

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Brunswick Bowling Balls. Ready to start hooking the ball?

Move up from Plastic to Urethane coverstock technology.

Compared to Plastic, Urethane coverstock technology increases traction and hooking action in the oil. Urethane coverstocks can be sanded or shined to create large differences in hook potential and Urethane coverstocks are more durable than either Plastic or Reactive coverstocks.

The Groove Urethane Blue Polished outperforms and under prices the competition and is recommended for medium to drier lane conditions.

Plastic slips. The Groove grips. And grip is exactly what you need to improve your game. When you’re ready to step up from plastic, get in the Groove.
