Great Combination!By Dave from Reno, Nv
Pros:Attractive Design
Best Uses:Tournaments, Upgrade
Describe Yourself:Pro
Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
It took me awhile to break down the cover,9 games, once I did I got the read I was hoping for in this lay out. I put the pin above and in the middle of my bridge, with the CG kicked out about an inch and a half, no weight hole. The first thing I noticed was this ball needed some head oil. On our THS which is the USBC white pattern the ball grabbed up a little early, once I moved in a little deeper I was amazed at how well the ball reacted off the friction, very smooth. With the yellow coloring you can see your reaction plain as day. Like all the balls with the Thrust (T) core this is a strong ball, handles the carry down like it isn’t there. I used this is a tournament over the weekend, on anvil lanes, when my Cruel was over reacting, I just picked up the Primal and played the same line. As the company says, this ball is not for short oil, they are correct. This ball is another pin punisher from the MOTIV family and will be a great addition to any one’s bag.

Motiv does it again. This ball provides a very smooth reaction with tons of hitting power. Don’t get me wrong, just because it’s smooth, don’t underestimate it’s hooking potential. The ball is very versatile to all kinds of conditions and lines of play. When the lanes have a lot of oil you can play very straight with this ball and not sacrifice anything, and as they lanes open up you can really get left and swing it. This ball will compliment the Motiv Cruel and be stronger than the TZ3. Oh and by the way I shot a 290 with this ball the very first game. Follow your instincts and pick up the Primal TV4 Today!

Exactly what I needed! by Carleen Meckenstock of Fort Bragg, NC
Pros:Attractive Design
Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley
Describe Yourself:League Bowler
Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Wanted a ball that didn’t hook and needed to drop a pound in weight. This ball does exactly what the reviews said it would; it goes long, snaps at the back end with great pin action. The sling shot cut my corner pin spares in half. I love it!

- Description: Storm is known for producing the best high performance balls on the market. When the Virtual Gravity was released in 2008, it not only turned heads but gave bowlers of all skill levels an unprecedented amount of hook on even the oiliest lanes imaginable. The new Virtual Gravity Nano is intended to create a similar yet stronger ball motion built specifically for heavy oil. This can be accomplished with either a stronger coverstock (texture) or more aggressive weight block (lower radius of gyration or increased differential). As the original Virtual Gravity quickly became Storm‟s all-time best seller, the new Nano is sure to follow in its footsteps…and yes, those are big shoes to fill! Looking at the original Virtual Gravity, the Shape-Lock HD weight block/core system produced a fast-revving action that especially helped bowlers looking for a stronger change of direction usually privy to only those with big rev rates! The Shape-Lock HD motor will continue to power the Nano as well. A breakthrough in coverstock technology rarely happens due to the complex nature of chemistry and polymer science. But Storm’s research and development team is committed to maintaining the “pole position” in bowling innovation, so it’s no surprise that we are changing the game yet again with the new NRG cover. With Nanotechnology, NRG will give bowlers increased oil traction due to the micro-dynamic enhancements of the surface. Just looking at the surface of the new NRG material shows you the increased surface texture between the peaks and valleys, as well as the more aggressive edges on the top of the peaks! We’re continuing to push the envelope; we just hope you are ready for it.

Another great ball by Storm!!! by Greg W. from Fort Sill, OK
Pros: Attractive Design, Flawless Surface, Great Weight, Comfortable Grip
Best Uses: Upgrade, Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments
Describe Yourself: League Bowler
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I Bowl on a friday night league on a white roller 2 oil pattern and this ball really reads the lane well. I had the Nano(14lbs)drilled for the most aggressive layout since im a high reving bowler and once this ball clears the oil down the lane get ready to watch this ball hook right into the pocket. I bowled a 246 on my first game right out the box. My orginal virtual gravity reacts well on this type of pattern but not like the nano with this new cover stock. I was able to still use this ball when the lanes start to breakdown all you have to do is start stepping to the left if your a right hand bowler to give your self more lane to play with.

This ball is great in oil! I was throwing the pure physics and was having trouble getting ball back to hole in oil..(I do throw a pretty fast ball) but was just struggling in oily conditions. I got this ball and moved 5 n 4 left and ball still was driving. The ball just dont stop hooking!! LOVE THIS BALL…its well worth the money!!!
